PUI0022 - Can we substitute a different error panel?

Post by bruceanthony »

The PUI0022 message reveals much about the problem that is helpful to programmer but is too much information for the user. I don't want the users, especially outside users to see how they might get into the system by using different program names.

I would like to put out something simple like access denied or service not available.

Can this be done?

The display can't be substituted, although it can be customized; see here:

You can hide the unwanted display fields. This will hide the information for everybody, although programmers can see all the details in the job logs on the system.

This is exactly what I needed. Thank you. I made most of the fields hidden and it works great.
