After working with different screens, the Open dropdown box shows multiple screens which you worked with. I would like to delete some of them from the dropdown box only, not the members from my library. Is there a way to do it?

There is no way to clear this list from within the IDE at the moment. However, this information is stored in a cookie. You can always clear the browser's cookies. I hope this helps.
