Working in the PUI Designer there are some very nice editing and design tools. The quick settings for setting a font color using the color palette is one.
I have found, however, that if a field has a property that is bound that the binding is removed when changing a property from these "toolbars."
I changed a field that appeared to be defaulting to the gray font color in a grid to be black in color using the Edit toolbar font color palette not realizing the field was bound to a field that set the font color to red in the logic of the program under certain circumstances.
Could there be some warnings added in the designer if changing the property of a field using the "toolbar" if that property happens to be bound to a field?
I could see an issue when selecting multiple fields then clicking something like the font color where it would need to check all the selected fields for if any are bound before allowing the change to take place.

Re: Enhancement Request - Designer and Bound Properties
Hi Kevin,
Our team took your suggestion and added it to our list of bugs to be fixed. For some reason (an error) it looks like you were not notified of this -- so I wanted to send a reply and let you know that we did, indeed, take your suggestion.
I'm in the process now of adding a pop-up message to warn you if you use a toolbar to change a property that has a field bound to it. It will let you cancel the change, or continue (in which case the bound field will be un-bound.)
Thanks!
