Losing Properties

Post by mpilo0 »

Hello,
We are having quite a disturbing problem. All our widgets that are using the pui.addCustomProperty() function seem to be losing those properties on the 2nd Save. (This includes the Google maps widget)

Here is what i do to create the problem.
1- Add a widget
2- Add a value to a custom property
3- Save the source
4- Hit open and re-open my source
Results: My custom properties are now no longer highlighted in blue to show that they are changed.
5- Hit Save Again (I'm not stupid enough to normally save when i notice things aren't working i was trying to recreate the problem :P)
6- Re-Open the source
Results: All attributes are gone

We investigated and here are our results:
We tested on an old instance of Profound laying around on version 4.8.0 and everything works fine.
We tested on an instance on Version 4.8.4 which has quite a bit of tweaking done to the Apache config and it doesn't work.
We tested on an instance on Version 4.8.4 which has the original apache configurations and it doesn't work either.

Now we checked and the widgets are being loaded correctly. We are out of options and we think it could maybe be the new version.

Please Help

Please contact our support department and file a bug report so that we can look into this.
You can e-mail them at support@profoundlogic.com, or use the "technical support" option that's on the help tab of the visual designer.

Thanks!
