We use the following code to test if we are running under Genie:

DCL VAR(&GENIE) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(1)

/* *** Check if we are running under Genie *** */
/* ----------------------------------- */

CALL PGM(PROFOUNDUI/PUI0002300) PARM(&GENIE)

&GENIE would be set to '1' if true and '0' if false.
