Since Designer is not allowed on production how do we access that function "Maintain Initial Program"? The second question is, why should I have too. Is there a means to invoke the specific program I want through the URL?
I tried a youserver:port/start?lib/program but all I got was what was in in initial program list or if no entry I received was the training menu.
Copying files setup on development is not a good solution to maintaining initial programs because libraries and such change, let alone the flexibility isn't great

Maintaining initial program, or how about not having one?

Chris,
Here is a quick doc on what to do. I will get this added to the documentation site as soon as I have a chance.

Is there any plan to offer more flexibility in launching applications?
One example would be placing the program on the URL.

Anonymous programs can be called with the program in the URL currently. See http://www.profoundlogic.com/docs/displ ... s+Sessions
As for authenticated sessions, I am not aware of any plans currently to allow the initial program to be passed as a parameter in the URL. From a security standpoint, I don't know that this would be desirable.
