Label for input fields (HTML tag - <label for>)

Post by rict »

During a conservation with Alex Roytman he mentioned that the new release 5.5.0 would support the use of the HTML tag <label for> for input elements. We would like to use this to associate an input field with a <label for> so that screen readers will recognize the text associated with the input element.

I have reviewed the release notes and the properties for the testbox, textarea, etc. elements but cannot find anything related to this.

Can anyone tell me if this new feature is available in release 5.5.0?

Thanks,

Hmmm.. 5.5.0 was already in the publishing stages when this feature request was placed. I think perhaps Alex said that it'd be available in the next release after that?

We are currently waiting for Jano to renew their maintenance with our company. (It is expired.) Once we receive payment for maintenance, we will begin work on this feature.

Thanks for the update. The maintenance should be up to date now, but I will double check.
