Can the Profound UI programs call an old RPGIII program?

Post by Profound Logic »

Question:
Can the Profound UI programs call an old existing RPGIII program?

Answer:
If the RPG III program does not do any screen processing, then that program can be called. However, if it uses a display file and you intend to replace the display file with a Rich UI, then you must use RPG ILE. The RPG III program can be converted to ILE easily using the system’s CVTRPGSRC utility.
