Compile with Visual Studio modify the source

Post by jac53 »

I did a copy of DDROP001D to my library with a different name. Even without open it with the visual studio, only compiling I get errors because the compile process is modifying the source as follows:
IBM COMPARE V6R1M0 080215 07/30/10
NEW: LN9TSTPRF/QDDSSRC(V55005D) OLD: PUISAMPLES/QDDSSRC (DDROP001D)
LISTING OUTPUT SECTION (LINE COMPARE)

ID SOURCE LINES
----+----1----+----2----+----3----+----4----+----5----+----6----+----7----+

I - A TARGETELEM 20AedH <=========== Adding those two letters to the source
D - A TARGETELEM 20A H

Re: Compile with Visual Studio modify the source

For some reason the visual designer is adding this when it is saving the DDS. When you compile a rich display file from within the designer it first saves the DDS source.

I have been able to reproduce the problem but only on that one source member. We are investigating...

In the meantime, you could copy this source member with PDM and compile with option 14 in PDM until we have this resolved.

Thank you for your feedback here.
