Wrong record is read when using single row selection
Hi, I'm using single row selection to get the row to remain highlighted after I click on the Blue L button to build the next screen. However, when I click on the button again, the screen doesn't rebuild. It continues to display the same data in the next grid. I have to click it again and then I get the correct data. And, if I click on a different row on the second click, the data from the previous click shows up. The selection works fine if the row selection property is set to none, but then the row does not highlight.

Re: Wrong record is read when using single row selection
Hi Brian,
When you debug this, have you found that your RPG program is receiving the wrong information from the grid? I'm assuming that when you click, the RPG program is given control (via pui.click) and that it's then loading the next screen. Is it getting the proper information? Or the wrong information?
If it's getting the wrong information, is it because it's getting the wrong RRN somehow? Or is it using the proper RRN, but getting the wrong info? Or are you using something like READC? Perhaps your record is no longer 'changed', and therefore you're getting a different record if you're using READC?
Sorry for all the questions... trying to narrow down what might be the problem.

Re: Wrong record is read when using single row selection
I am using a readc, and the rpg program receives the wrong information back from the UI. RRN is wrong too. It only happens when I click on the next item down. If I go up, say from record 6 to 4, the RPG gets the correct information and it displays correct as well. There's a one click lag, but only when I set it to single row selection. I am using javascript onclick to populate a text field L or P + the row. S
