Grid Row Enhancement

Post by emhill »

We have a subfile which displays every field on a row in reverse image (RI) on certain conditions. The fields that are blank are also in RI even though they contain no data.

In PUI the blank fields do not show quite the same. The fields with data show in RI ok but the blank fields only have a small RI line at the top of the cell. Any suggestions on what we be a good alternative to this? Using the background color property does the same thing.

Just looking for some suggestions....

Thanks in advance!!!!!

Maybe you need to set the height/width of the field? I'm guessing the field is currently automatically adjusting it's height/width to the size of the data, so if there's no data, it just appears as the "small RI line" that you mention. But, if you explicitly set the height/width of the widget, it will always be the same size, and the background color will be visible as expected.
