Up and Down Arrows on a User Contorled Sort

Post by bsinclair »

I have built a subfile (grid) with 11 columns and the sort arrows work great on columns 2 through 11 or index 1 through 10 but I can't get the arrow to display on the first column. All the other column arrows work and display as I would expect.

This is a User Controlled sort and User controlled arrows and column designations.

I have verified that the initial sort column is set to 0 and default sort order is set to 'A'.

Any Ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it.

What is meant by "user controlled", here? Does this mean that the sorting is done in the RPG program rather than using our sortable columns feature?

Can you provide a JSON screenshot? Press Ctrl-F9 when on the screen, it'll ask you to save a file named json.txt to your PC. Upload that screenshot here, or send it to support@profoundlogic.com

On the binding dialog for field ‘DFLSORT’, set the option ‘show zero balance’. By default, PUI’s number formatting will turn a zero into blank. If you turn that on, it will put the zero into the property and it should then work fine
