Problem in Visual Designer

Post by rmullis »

I have recently started experiencing a problem in Visual Designer. If I click on an option in the menu bar and it gives me a dropdown menu, it no longer disappears after I perform an action. For example, I can click on the down arrow beneath Open to get a list of previously opened display files. If I select one display file from the list to open, it opens, but the dropdown menu nevers disappears. I have to click on it again or press ESC to get it to disappear/close. Also, when I move the mouse over an icon to get the tooltip for a Visual Designer option, the tooltip never disappears, even when I move the mouse off of it.

I believe that the problems may relate to the JS files that you were using to try to get those balloon tool tips?

When I was looking at these files, I had loaded them into my /custom directory as you had done, and I noticed that this caused some errors in the designer.

Can you try removing the files and then loading the designer in a new browser session? Does that fix it? Let me know if not and we can investigate further.

The files seem to contain some coding which is not compatible with the designer.

That appears to have corrected it. I will keep an eye on it to see if the problem reappears.
