Field sets and parent tab

I dragged a field set onto my tab panel and everything seemed to be fine. It displayed, and my fields associated with it moved along with it when i moved the field set around.

I then noticed my field set was displaying on my other tabs on my tab panel, though none of the fields also displayed.

So i set the parent tab panel field and the parent tab field on my field set (both were blank). After i did that, the field set no longer appeared on any tab, although my fields continued to display on the 1st tab where they belonged.

I removed the parent tab field and the field set continued to not display. Finally, i cleared both fields and the field set started to display again.

It seems like the Tab section isn't working properly on field set widget.

Yes, you are correct. Field Sets don't behave like other containers. I will have someone on that part of the dev team look into it. In the meantime, I would suggest using a panel widget. It should behave the way you expect when on a tab panel.

Do you have any updates regarding allowing field sets to function with tab panels? We asked Rob while he was here in the office during training regarding this. While the panels would generally work in place of the field sets, they do not have the same look that we are seeking.
