Post install, how to determine which release ?
After profoundui was installed is there a simple means to determine which release of the OS was selected on the installer?

There is not a way to tell which release of the OS was selected. The reason 2 versions for the different OS releases are provided are to deal with the program object conversion between V5 and V6. A version built on each OS release is provided.
If you install the V5 version on V6, your system will automatically convert the objects on first use. This will work fine, although there can be a bit of a delay the first time each object is used.
If you install the V6 version on V5, the installation will fail completely unless you have the PTFs required to "back convert" V6 objects on V5. If you do have them, everything will work fine.
