Grid/Subfile Copy?
I can't seem to determine how to select and copy an entire subfile/grid (I want to replicate it) in the same dds file. Is there anyway to do that so I can keep all the settings I used on the original Grid?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Grid/Subfile Copy?
There is no such option at the moment. You would have to recreate it manually

Re: Grid/Subfile Copy?
Couldn't you just use your green screen editor to copy the lines of code and change the record format name?

Re: Grid/Subfile Copy?
Jim Reed, I've not tried it but the HTML in the DDS file doesn't look like it would be as easy as that. I may give it a shot anyway.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Grid/Subfile Copy?
I am looking to do the same thing. We are running 3.3.0 and it doesn't seem to be available. Is there any plans to make this available?

Re: Grid/Subfile Copy?
Seems the 3.3 version now has "record format" copy which does work well!
...keeps getting better!

Yes. I copy option was added in version 3.3. As always, keep the suggestions coming.

Brian, could it be possible to have an option to save any widget in the designer, especially the grid widget, as a custom widget somehow?

We have been trying for an hour now to figure out how to copy a sub-file grid within the same record format. We wanted to have a second grid on the record format that had the same headers, columns, settings, etc. Basically, we have screen CTRL, with grid INFO on it. We want to make a copy of INFO on CTRL and call it INFO1.leatherlips wrote: Seems the 3.3 version now has "record format" copy which does work well!

We have tried using the Copy Record Format and Paste Record Format buttons, but they will not work to allow sub-files to be copied within the same screen record format name.
We are on Profound UI version 4.1.4. Could you please give us some instructions or suggestions on how to copy a sub-file grid within the same screen?
Thanks!
Denise
