Subfile/Grid-1st Column doesn't sort properly?

Post by leatherlips »

I have a subfile where I am allowing sorting of columns.
All the columns sort properly except the 1st column. I also changed the order of the fields in the subfile to be sure it wasn't something specific to the data or field, and no matter which field appears in column 1, it does not sort properly. I'm at v2.2.7 currently.

Are there any other fields (perhaps hidden?) in the first column?

I double checked, and no other fields are in that column.

Is this issue now resolved given the discovery that was made about hidden subfile field's "left" position in conversions? See this post:

Alex, Yes, I moved all the hidden fields to a different column that is less likely to be used for sorting and the sort now works for the column in question.
Thanks!!
