Subfile Hover Background Color Issue
I have a screen with a subfile with one record, so Genie doesn't recognize the subfile and I have to manually insert a grid. Since the data is showing on top of the grid and not actually a part of the grid, the hover background color property in the grid widget has no effect. Has anyone found a solution for this, or am I just missing something obvious here? Thanks for your help.

Re: Subfile Hover Background Color Issue
Instead of adding a grid manually, have you tried setting the subfile start/subfile end screen-level properties so that it detects the subfile? Then you don't have to add a new one manually.
The other possibility, of course, is to simply not use the hover colors (which don't really do anything, they're cosmetic only) until you're ready to move on beyond 5250.

I tried that as well, but no joy. I'll see if they can live with no hover highlighting for now. Thanks Scott.
