Hi,
I looked at your Videos Demos of Genie, it looks pretty cool!
I don't really like Subfile DropDown to manage many than one possible options.
I was wondering if it would be possible to use a Select Box for Subfile Lines and on the side, buttons reflecting the options?
Ex. I Clicked on 2 Select boxes in the Subfile (instead of SFL DropDown), than I click on a button (or hyperlink) that represents "Modify" (Subfile Value = "2") or a button that represents "Delete" (Subfile Value = "4") to let the RPG program to managed the two subfile records (multiple records) at the same time.
Thanks in advance,
Patrick

Re: Subfile Options
Yes,
There are alternatives to using a select box to select a record in a Genie subfile. You could list a series of hyperlinks or icons in a column of the subfile. You could also add a checkbox next to each record, which would allow the user to choose multiple records and click a button to submit.
There are advantages and disadvantages to each method, depending on what you are trying to accomplish. If you would like to brainstorm with our development team, please call 937-439-7925.
Thanks,
