lexical error on Universal open

Post by kswisher »

I am trying to use a Universal display to generate an HTML file in the IFS. We will use that as an email attachment.

The template has a lot of embedded CSS and comments in it, so I am not sure if that is causing the issue or what.

When my program tries to open the this display file, it just throws the following error:
CPF9897: lexical error: invalid character inside string.
  • From Program: UNIVERSAL
    From library: PROFOUNDUI
    From Module: UNIVERSAL
    From Procedure: Open__FP13QrnOpenAccess
    From statement: 252
Is there any logs to determine what character it might be having a problem with?

This error means that the JSON data that is stored inside the DDS member is not valid.
