Hi,
Is it possible to set up Profound to use both IBM i profile authentication and to use validation lists for some specific applications.
We have a scenario where we have local users (company staff) accessing UI apps and remote external customers that needs access to specific applications.
For our company staff we would like to use IBM i profile authentication, but for the external customers I would like to set up a validation list per application.
Can this be done, and is it possible to validate against multiple validation lists?
Also, an example will be most helpfull.
Thanx in advance.
Tonis.

Re: Rich Display Program Signon
Hmm.. I think it'd be possible if you used different URLs for the different logon methods, but I haven't tried it.
Alternately, you could have an anonymous program that runs an RPG program with no sign-on. Then that RPG program could bring up it's own screen prompting for a userid/password, and your program could handle the work of checking against a validation list (or anything else you wanted to use.) You'd use this for external users, and the company staff could just use "regular" (non-anonymous) sessions.
