Run a PC program within a Rich Display screen
What I need to do is run a PC based document imaging program within a rich display screen. Is that possible? I have reviewed the forum(s) but am convinced I am not asking the right question. I can use an Atrium menu option to run the PC based program and that works just like clicking on the desktop icon for that application but my user base is asking for the ability to have another tab within my PL Rich Display application and have the document imaging program run in that tab.

Re: Run a PC program within a Rich Display screen
You can use a javascript function to launch the desired program (much the same as having it on the atrium menu). However, there is no way to run a PC application within a Rich Display file (or any website for that matter) unless that PC application has some type of browser plugin that can be called. For example, Adobe Acrobat has a plugin for browsers that allow it to be run directly within the browser.

Re: Run a PC program within a Rich Display screen
Thanks for the update Brian. I suspected that would be the case but was hoping that someone with more experience would have a solution that I could not find.
