Is this happening in a Genie session? Or outside of Genie?
If in Genie, there is a fix in 4.2.2 for a bug which could cause Genie to 'hang' in certain situations, resulting in this dialog.
There are other potential causes, though, such as a network connection issue.
I'd recommend:
1. Update to 4.2.2 -- this might correct the issue.
2. After updating to 4.2.2, turn on this configuration option which provides more detail with the "check your connection" message:

If it's still an issue, please contact our support team and provide a screenshot of the error pop-up with the additional information, and also a copy of your latest Apache error log file here:
/www/profoundui/logs
