Problem installing latest version / release of Genie

At this point, the processing froze. I received the following message(s) 4 or 5 minutes later.

200 Representation type is ASCII nonprint.
200 PORT subcommand request successful.
425 Not able to open data connection.

I've tried twice with the same results. There might've been a few people still signed on and this is the first time I've attempted the download on a new computer. I may try the download from another computer to rule that out as a problem.

Hello Wayne,

It looks like you are running into a firewall issue related to the FTP access that the installation requires during the installation process. This could be a local firewall issue (such as Windows Firewall, or any other firewall installed on your computer), and can be remedied by changing the firewall settings to enabled the required access for the installation.
