Basic jQuery code example
I have read a number of posts referencing jQuery. What would be helpful is to have a step by step code example. I would like to use jQuery in custom.js to display a modal dialog in onsubmit for given situations.

Re: Basic jQuery code example
Hello,
Is this in the context of Genie? Genie does support jQuery, but unfortunately we do not have a step by step example of getting jQuery setup (or a jQuery plugin setup for that matter).Your best bet would be to look through the documentation of a given plugin you are interested in using and figure out how best to integrate it within Genie based on that. As long as you have included the necessary source files in the start.html file of your Genie skin, you should be able to use the relevant plugin.
jQuery and jQuery plugins are also supported in rich display file applications, but the placement of the needed source files will be different. They would need to be placed in the ifs in the following location:
/www/[instance name]/htdocs/profoundui/userdata/custom/
