Error PUI0006 during openning PUISCREENS file

Post by infgge00 »

Hi! We have a problem before launching session. Sometimes (not always) when one of our customers wants to launch session, It produces an error, and this error persist during 2,3,4 ... 20 tries of launching session. Then, user can do login normally.

Please, this error is so embarrasing for our customers.

You can see images attached with job log and error screen.

Thanks!!

Giovani,

This issue has been reported previously. We have assigned support ticket number 1236, and it has been assigned to one of our developers at the highest priority level. We have spent many hours, already, trying to discover what might cause this issue, but so far have not turned up any information.

The error message states that the user does not have authority -- but that does not make sense, since you say that if you re-try several times, eventually it works. If they don't have authority, they should never have authority, and it should never work -- so this doesn't make sense. Also, according every test we've tried, we cannot seem to find a way where the user gets this error.

If you have any new information that might help us reproduce the problem, please e-mail it to our support@profoundlogic.com address, and mention issue number 1236.

If there's anyone else out there reading this who has the same problem, please let us know. So far, as far as we know, nobody else has had this issue, which makes me wonder if maybe there's something different about Giovani's system? (Maybe someone has modified the operating system or similar? This error is coming from an OS/400 API.)
