error message

Post by oumouna »

I use the error message property for a textbox. I define the message text and I bind the error condition to an indicator. In my RPG program I set the indicator to true but the message does'nt display when I execute.
I don't know why.

Please make sure the "Enhanced Mode" checkbox is turned on for all of your error messages. This is the most common reason why the errors don't show up. By default, Profound UI will emulate the old green-screen keywords (ERRMSG/ERRMSGID) which do not show up unless the format was already on the screen. When "enhanced mode" is turned on, they will always appear -- which is more intuitive behavior.

Let us know if that was the problem.
