Hi
We are facing with an issue related to the Atrium banner since we've updated to the version 4.5.1
If users change their settings (My setting -> change anything -> update/save)
Then they won’t be able to see the Atrium banner anymore.
I checked the ATCONFIGP file and realized that every time users change their settings these 2 fields change to blank ( Banner URL and Home Page URL ) while in the "My settings" page they don't have textbox for these 2 fields.
Note: This problem happens for those users that we have checked the "Inherit settings” checkbox for them.
I wish if I could upload some screen shots here.
Could you please check it to see where the issue is?

If you have the "inherit settings" checked, the banner page and home page settings are inherited from their parent/group rather than set via the "My Settings" page. So blanking them out shouldn't do any harm.
Having said that, I've tried to reproduce the issue you mention, and I can't seem to do it. I'm able to edit the stuff on the "My Settings" page without wiping out the home dir or atrium banner... it doesn't matter if I have "inherit settings" turned on or not.
Can you explain how to reproduce this error?

Sure. Here are the steps I’ve fallowed:

- 1-I have a AAA user profile under the IT group ( All groups -> IT group -> “AAA” user profile)
- 2-Here are all the settings for the groups and users I have set:
- a. For “All Groups”:
- i. All the settings are enabled and each of the options have a value
- b. For “IT” group:
- i. I have the “Inherit settings” ON (checked).
- ii. The rest of the settings are disabled and they all have the default values.
- c. For “AAA” user profile:
- i. I have the “Inherit settings” ON (checked).
- ii. Access role = User
- iii. Can edit profile = checked (ON)
- iv. The rest of the settings are disabled and they all have the default values.[/
- a. For “All Groups”:
- 3- Now I login to the Atrium with “AAA” user profile.
- 4- I can see the banner and everything looks fine.
- 5- I go to the “My Settings” page and change something (like Banner height or Navigation type) or even change nothing there and then click on save button.
- 6- Shows me “Setting saved.”
- 7- When it redirect to the main page, the banner is gone. It is an empty white space.
