Tab Order

Post by Shon »

I have developed a screen with several fields, a subfile grid, then several more fields. I have re-arranged the Tab order using the Elements tab in Visual Designer and using both the auto-arrange and move arrows. Lately, I am trying to get some fields that are above the subfile grid, to appear in a tab order after the fields in the subfile grid. After I finish moving the fields using the Elements tab and saving, and compiling my screen, if I re-open the screen, it discards the order and does something different. Why is it discarding my changes? Can you not set a tab order after a grid it the element exists before it?

To order your fields on your screen I think you would use the Tab Index property under the Misc heading. Give each field a tab order for your display. First field = 10, second field = 20, etc.

Hope this is what your are looking for......
