I have a popup window. Overlay is on. Overlay range is set to 1-1. Format name is VSTRUJIN. Design overlay format is VSTRUJIN. The program displays the pop-up without a problem. There are no input fields, but there is an Email button and a Back button. When either is clicked the program closes the display file and sets on LR. The underlying screen bleeds into the pop-up and one of the two buttons must be clicked again to completely clear the pop-up.
I need the screen to be cleared completely after either button is clicked one time. What have I missed?

Re: Clearing popup window
It's not necessary to use "overlay" when using the "show as window" property. Windows always overlay other screen content.
Try removing the "overlay" properties.
You would want to use the "assume" property on the window if it is defined in a separate record format from the main screen. This allows the content from 2 display file to co-exist on the screen.
Does this help?

Re: Clearing popup window
Yes. I resolved it already, but I left in the overlay attribute. After removing it, the screen functioned as expected. I did not remove the overlay range. Does that attribute matter either in this situation?

Re: Clearing popup window
The "overlay range" property is used only when "overlay" is on. This is used for the purpose of "overlap" calculations for overlay, since we don't truly have rows/columns in the browser, this gives it some information on what formats overlap other formats, etc.
