Subfile question

Post by jac53 »

I need to assign properties to all the subfile options (select boxes) but I do not have enough data to fill the whole page. Is there any way to display the missing ones in order to apply the same properties to all of them?

It sounds like Genie did not automatically detect your subfile. Try pulling in a grid widget on the subfile. If you set a property to a column in the grid, it should apply to all rows.

See attachement.

I do not think you undestood my question. In example I am sending you the page could contain 15 lines by subfile page. I want to convert the texbox to a select box with choices.
Because I do not have all the text boxes on the page I can not apply the same properties to all of them.

Correct. Genie can only customize what it can see on the screen. So what you need to do is either create some data to populate all the rows, or write a temporary program to use the display file and fill in all the rows with data.
