I added a date field on a display file for a portal that we have up and running and it wouldn't compile. So, I saved the display file under a different name, closed it and then tried to open the original display file. I get this message.... "Unable to open. Server response is invalid. Invalid character." I receive this for both display files now.
HELP!!!
Can't open my display file in Visual Designer

Re: Can't open my display file in Visual Designer
Greg,
Sorry, I got busy today and didn't have a chance to call until late. I copied the file down from a backup tape. Now, everytime I try to open the file and without changing anything, compile it, it is getting corrupted. We haven't upgraded in awhile, so I'll guess we have to start there first.
I'll call you on Monday.
