V3 error

Post by amc »

I did a fresh install of V3

Now if find that some of my links to images that reside in /profoundui/userdata/images/ are expected to be in /profoundui/auth/userdata/images/

is this a bug or something with my install ?

regards

How are you linking to the images?

If you are using an absolute path, this should not happen. Try using something like this for your links:

/profoundui/userdata/images/yourfile.gif

Does this help?

These images are static images at the top of each page.

I had the path set exactly as you show
/profoundui/userdata/images/CIM.png

when the page rendered, the image was missing & the image link was
http://192.168.0.30:8080/profoundui/auth/userdata/images/CIM.png

Strangely, for each affected program, I went back into designer, re-selected the image using the pick image tool, re-compiled & they now render correctly even though the image path in the designer still remains unchanged at /profoundui/userdata/images/CIM.png

So the problem is solved for now, I just don't understand how.

Thanks
