Overtype not working
I have created Genie screen from green screens. I have set the overtype mode to true in the screen, skin, and global settings. When I am in a field that contains data, if I begin to type, the entry does not type over the current data but rather it insert fields before the current data.

Re: Overtype not working
Hi Sunny,
The ‘Overtype Mode’ feature is only supported in Internet Explorer – this feature doesn’t work in other browsers. Are you testing this in Internet Explorer? If you’re wanting to use a similar functionality in other browsers, we usually suggest that customers use the ‘highlight on focus’ property. This will highlight the text in a textbox when it receives focus and will allow you to type over it (similar to overtype mode).

Re: Overtype not working
This will work except it doesn't allow the user to simply correct a letter or letters in a field. They will have to type in the entire field again.
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Overtype not working
Genie will request overtype mode -- but, there's nothing it can do if the browser refuses to support it. To our knowledge, Internet Explorer is the only one that supports it.
I agree that highlight on focus isn't quite as nice -- but, its the best we can do when the browser doesn't support overtype.
From your screen properties screenshot, there appears to be something awry with your .CSS.

It's hard to guess exactly what is wrong, but your screen properties styling is NOT supposed to look like that. It looks like your profoundui.css file is damaged or missing. Contact Profound Support for help, please.
