Field disappeared

I must have hit something when I was in design mode for my state field because it disappeared and I can't find it. It is still in the dds but not on the screen. I thought I could only delete a field that was not in the dds. How can I find fields that are gone?

Are you referring to the Genie designer or Rich Display designer?

When you say the field "disappeared" do you mean that you right-clicked and chose "hide"? OR changed the visibility property to "hidden"? If so, these fields should still be visible when you're in the designer, but won't be visible when you are just running the screen normally. If that's the case, go into the designer, right-click and choose un-hide. (or maybe it's called "show", I forget the exact wording.)

Or, do you mean something else?

Please provide an example of the problem, I'm struggling to follow you.

I know about the visibility/hidden feature and yes when it says that the field is hidden, I still see the field when in designer mode. Of course, sometimes it shows a field is hidden in designer mode but it shows on the screen when not in designer mode but that doesn't seem to be a problem for me right now.

The field is no longer on the screen when I am in designer mode.

I am attaching 3 screens. They show the 2 state fields. The first one is @NHSTAT and it was showing on the screen and then just disappeared. I couldn't find it anywhere so I added @NHSTATE to the bottom of the DDS and then went back into design mode and @NHSTATE showed up. You will see on the print screen 2 state fields @NHSTATE and @NHDLST(which is the state for the driver's license). But, @NHSTAT is gone from the design screen.

This same thing happened with my function keys (which never worked on this screen).
