I looked up this issue in our Support database, and they discovered that there was an interaction between a 3rd-party JavaScript tool they were using and the Profound UI JavaScript framework that was causing problems. It had something to do with both tools trying to do session timeouts, they didn't log all the specifics in the database, but they were able to resolve it by changing the settings.
If your problem occurred after applying PTFs, it seems like it couldn't be the same situation.
A symptom like "the session is ending" could be caused by sooo many things, I don't think its ever safe to assume that because one person solved the problem, that the same solution applies to you. Instead, I would suggest digging deeper into your own situation... find out what is causing the session to time out, etc. Is something happening in the browser that's causing the session to end, if so, what? Or, is something happening on the server (which would make sense if its related to PTFs), if so, what?
I think an approach like that would be more fruitful.
