In your screenshot under "Form Data" it is sending data as "query=44&AUTH=xxx". The data is normally only sent that way when you are using the "choices url" property.

In the Genie designer, please find the "choices url" property, right-click it, and choose "remove property value". Then save your changes and try the screen again.

Did you try removing the property value like I suggested?

I do not have anything in the property choices url.
Open the attachment and you will see that the property is empty.

Jac53,

I understand that the property looks "blank". But, it has been set to a value (even if that value may be blanks or other non-visible characters), and because Genie thinks its set to something, it is trying to use that value.

Let's take a closer look at your screenshot, I'll re-post it with some circles/arrows added to it:
choices_url_property_set.png

Notice two things:
  1. You have used the button in the upper-right of the properties box to only show properties that are set to something, but the "choices url" property does come up in the list -- so it is, indeed, set to something.
  2. Notice the color of the property name. The color is different when the property is set vs. when it is not.
Here's a screenshot from one of my screens where the background color has been set. Notice the difference in color between the set property (background color) and the unset properties like choices url or background image:

As you can see, your "choices url' property is, indeed, set to something -- even if its just a blank value, its still a value and Genie is trying to use it. Please right-click it and choose "remove property value".

I hope that's easier to understand.

Sorry that didn't help. I've run out of things that I can try via the forums. Please create a support ticket with Profound Logic Support so they can work with you to set up and reproduce the problem so that we can investigate it further.

Hi Scott:
Finally everything is working fine.
Because of the new JD Edwards 9.4 it looks like some fields in the Genie screens got the properties of the previous field. Confusing?
So another user complaint he can not key in, it was true the input field has a drop down box which original belonged to the previous field.
I follow your advise and removing wrong properties of each of the fields and restoring the properties they should have I fixed the issue and also the auto complete in the new complaint,
So I revisited the original one which initiated this topic and I fixed it too.

Thank you very much for your help!
