Is there any way from stopping the system from using the default "Tool Tip Text" for blank tool tips? I've tried two single quotes, and that's what I get. I've even tried a blank field, and if it's blank, it still comes up "Tool Tip Text".

I am not familiar with this phenomenon.
I tried creating a simple display file and setting the "tool tip" property of a widget to a blank string or a blank bound field, and it did not show a tool tip at all for me. When setting it to two quote marks, it (of course) shows the two quote marks as the tool tip.
Can you tell us how to see what you're seeing?

This was such a tiny issue, I forgot about it. Actually, what caused it was, in the Tool Tip Property of the Grid object, it had "tool tip text". Removed it, and it was fine.
