Answer:
There are no security issues. RPG OA simply replaces I/O op codes with calls to a handler. Of course, if you are creating public Web applications, you do need to take the appropriate precautionary measures, like encrypting sensitive data or ensuring there is no backdoor to your application. But this would have to be done with any Web technology.
