We work with Genie on an ibm iseries.
We open a group session that appears in full screen and hides the main session.
We would like to open it in a window of the main session.
We don't want to open several session
Is it possible ?
Thanks !
Gwen

Re: Display screen with group session
Hello,
What do you mean by "open a group session"?
Do you mean a 5250 group job? Those that are configured with CHGGRPA, TFRGRPJOB, ENDGRPJOB, etc? If so, we do not have any control over how those work. Those are part of the IBM i operating system and designed to work with 5250 terminals. Genie simply acts as a 5250 terminal (just as Client Access, ACS, etc) it cannot change the way 5250 sessions work in the operating system.
or, do you mean something different? if so, please elaborate.
