I'm attempting to run on an Intermec CN3 handheld computer, running windows mobile 5. I'm getting a blank screen. Have you experimented with similar devices?

We did a search for IE Mobile 5 and found this site that mentions IEM5 had trouble rendering javascript-rich sites such as MSNBC's home page.

Can you point your handheld at http://www.msnbc.msn.com/ to see if it will render the page?

Yes, I can get to MSN web page on the handheld.

When I go to the Profoundui welcome page on the handheld, the page displays but not properly. Next I tried to run the program anonymously:

http://11.103.41.99:8080/profoundui/sta ... /libsignon.

That's when I get the blank screen.

I do not see the attempted signon in the history log, as I do when I run the program on a PC.

Sorry to keep bothering you:

When I try now on the Intermec:

"Forbidden

You do no have permission to access / profoundui/ on this server. "

Is this message coming from you or from Intermec?

Richard,

As you already know, the problem you were having was resulting from not being able to turn on the "enable scripts" flag on your mobile browser's settings. As we've seen together during the GoToMeeting session, once I turned off this flag in the Emulator, the results were consistent with you were seeing.

After talking with Intermec's support team, we found out that this option is not available on Windows Mobile 5. It is available, however, on Windows Mobile 6.1 for the CN3. Thus, the recommendation is to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1 in order to get Profound UI to run on your mobile device.
