Question:
Is open access a generic term, or does it require a change to the operating system?
Answer:
Rational Open Access for RPG is an additional IBM product that must be installed on your system (product number 5733-OAR). Once installed, it is integrated into the RPG compiler. The product requires OS V6.1 or higher. If you are on a lower release, you can still use Open Access functionality through our preprocessor module.
