while i have defined a field as a date field, and when i click to the right of it, the calendar pos out, the calenadar icon is not displayed on the screen.

this is to be displayed on a safari on an ipad in about 700 stores, and neither Chrome or Safari displays the calendar icon. how do i set it up?
