Answer:
We assume you are referring to IBM’s Open Access for RPG component. This will be available immediately for operating system releases 6.1 and up, starting right away on Friday, April 23rd, 2010.

The new operating system 7.1 is also shipping on the same day.

We assume that IBM will follow their usual practice of packaging this component on one of the “additional keyed programs” disks that come with the operating system order, as they do with other optional components. We’re also assuming that the usual grace period will apply, after which you would have to purchase the product.

For release 6.1, you would place the order for the product as you usually do for IBM software.
