Hello,
It is possible to work on a genie project locally on my computer. Like run the Apache server locally and use a connection to the AS400. I want to use a git and CI/CD tools. Any advice would be helpful.
Can we run Genie on a local machine ?

No, Genie has to run on the IBM i. It does things such as interpreting the 5250 data stream, etc, in ILE C++ and ILE RPG programs. They utilize stuff like the operating system's Virtual Terminal APIs, etc. There's no way Genie could run anywhere but IBM i.
