Are there any known issues with Profound UI, Atrium or RPGsp when upgrading to 7.3?

Thank you for writing in! Yes, all recent versions of Profound UI work properly on IBM i 7.3. No configuration changes are needed, but if you are running a very old version of Profound UI (more than 3 years old) you will need to update it to the latest version to ensure full compatibility.

What version are you upgrading from? Going from 7.1 to 7.2 or higher has caused problems with RPGsp's built-in visual debugger for some customers.
If you run into issues with that, contact our support team (
support@profoundlogic.com) for a patch. This only affects the debugger, it does not affect the run-time at all, so existing programs will work fine. You can also avoid the problem by using the IBM-supplied debuggers instead of the RPGsp one if you prefer.
Profound UI (which includes Atrium) as Megan explained, has fully supported 7.3 for the past 3 years. So no problems there unless you're running something extraorinarily out of date.

Scott, we are going from 7.1 to 7.3 and are currently running 5.10.1 of Profound UI.
As for RPGsp, we only have a few programs running in it so we do not do much debugging. I will keep in mind the available patch though.
