Sortable Column property in grid

I am seeing an inconsistency. In some grids, a single-left-click on a column header will invoke the sort property. Repeated clicks will alternate between ascending & descending sorts. This is good.
In other grids, a single-left-click on the column header does nothing. Sometimes, it takes multiple single-left-clicks. Mostly, the sort property can only be invoked with a right click on the column header and choosing the sort option.
Is there is a way to make this more consistent?

Has anyone else heard of this left-click not working? This is new to me.
The only time I've seen this is when using a grid where all widgets are in one column (for example, so fold/drop an work). But in that case, right-click wouldn't work, either.

On the grids that you must click more than once to sort, does the grid data get loaded via DB-Driven property, Custom SQL, or Data URL? And is the "initial sort column" property set for the same column that you are clicking?

I'm having the same issues. One of the columns that will not sort is the initial sort field. I'm building the subfile from the rpg.

If you think this is a problem with Profound UI, I suggest opening a support ticket.
Otherwise, forums are a great way to communicate with other Profound customers and see if any of them have had similar problems or found solutions. I have never run into this myself, but maybe someone else has a solution?
