I have created an app that runs on a mobile device using "Profound UI" app, not phone gap. I would like to add some print functionality to the app for a blue tooth printer connected to the device. Are there any built in APIs that will allow this function?

We at Profound have not added anything like this...

But, our mobile app (the Profound UI one in the app store and play store) was written using PhoneGap/Cordova, so if it has a built-in API for this, then you could use that from the JavaScript in your screen. If it's not built-in, but requires a plugin, then we'd have to modify the app.. If you find something like that, you could place a feature request to have the plugin added. (There'd be no guarantee that the team would agree to do it, we'd have to look into it and make sure it makes sense for all of our customers -- but it doesn't hurt to ask, and if nobody ever asks, it'll definitely never happen.)

Sorry if my answers sound vague, but nobody has asked this before, so it'd require research.

If all else fails, you could probably make a screenshot on the device and print that? Might be *** to do... not sure.

My company would also welcome this feature since we are also using the profound ui mobile client to run our apps. We are currently looking at ways to print to a mobile Bluetooth printer.
