Auto tabbing.

Our order entry system has a scan board (subfile) that lists orders and allows a user to select that order by entering an 'X' in the select column. Pretty standard stuff. From my desktop computer, I can enter an X in the select column and the cursor automatically tabs to the select box in the following row. This works for IE, Chrome and Firefox. For my boss, Patrick, it works in all of the browsers except for Chrome. When he's in Chrome, he keys an X in a select box and the cursor stays in that select box. So, if he wants to select 3 contiguous orders, he has to type X tab X tab X tab (no automatic tabbing). I have a Galaxy Tab3 tablet (using Chrome) and there is no automatic tabbing going on either. This is not the end of the world for us in the office. But we do want to make this process efficient for the folks who are going to use this application the most... the guys in our warehouses using tablets.

I don't believe this is a Genie / Profound problem but could somebody (other users or tech support) steer us in the right direction in remedying this problem? Has anybody else experienced this problem?

It's very strange for the auto-tabbing to work in one computer's Chrome but not the other. Are the desktops running the same OS and Chrome version?

There may be some quirk for that tablet that we could work around in our client-side code, but we would need to reproduce it first. We can create a support ticket if you'd like.
