Can no longer compile RDF after 4.8.5 upgrade

Hi,

I just cannot compile any RDF since I have upgraded to 4.8.5.
I still have the same message with all my screens : The Rich Display definition of field "xxx" does not match the Green-Screen DDS definition.

Please, what does that mean ? I haven't done anything else than upgrading to 4.8.5...

I have noticed that fields causing trouble are referenced fields.
My library list in the Visual Designer has not been changed at all and it's reacting like if the library list was not set.

May the upgrade be guilty ?

I have just install 4.8.5 upgrade and also canĀ“t compile any program. In my case, It shows this message: "Zero value, not valid for message types number".

This is an English translation, Message is in Spanish.

With regard to the "The Rich Display definition of field "xxx" does not match the Green-Screen DDS definition.", We are aware of the problem and are working on an update that will correct it.

The ""Zero value, not valid for message types number" is something I've not heard before. Please provide details about how to reproduce this error...?

If you wish to go back to 4.8.4, please contact our technical support. support@profoundlogic.com

Hi Scott,

Thanks for this. A new update 4.8.6 is out, fixing that bug.

Yes, that's correct, we have published a new version, 4.8.6, that solves the "Rich display definition does not match the green screen definition" bug.

I still need more information about the "Zero value not valid for message types number" issue if you want us to look into it. When does it occur? How can I reproduce the problem here?

I haven't put 4.8.5 on. Can I just put 4.8.6 on without installing 4.8.5 first?

Dennis,

Yes. Just install 4.8.6 as normal.

You can skip 4.8.5 without problems.

Hope that helps!
